Linux tools for BIOS settings

Hi there,

I operate a collection of Poweredge servers running RHEL4,5 and 6.

Are there any utilities I can run to enable serial redirection so that I can see the first stages of booting?

I have machines which redirect output to serial, but only once the operating system has loaded.

I hope there is an option available which means I won't have to physically visit the machine.
