racadmn get BIOS returning error 17
When running
racadm get BIOS
command, the categories are listed, but echo $? shows error 17.
strace shows the following -
munmap(0x7f0ba2809000, 2517272) = 0
munmap(0x7f0ba2a70000, 5632000) = 0
times({tms_utime=0, tms_stime=1, tms_cutime=0, tms_cstime=0}) = 429485782
exit_group(17) = ?
+++ exited with 17 +++
The version of srvadmin-cm-9.5.0-20.09.00.x86_64
It's on Dell PowerEdge R7515 has AMD EPYC 7402P 24-Core Processor

If iDRAC FW is not latest can you install 4.40.00.00 FW on iDRAC and check the behavior. You can get latest iDRAC FW from below link

Can you let me know iDRAC FW version installed on the server. also let me know racadm version by running "racadm version" command. What operating system you have on the server?

Thanks for the details. Can you also share details on operating system installed on the server. Can you also share a image of the command (racadm get BIOS) output and error code(echo $?) output

My current version was 4.30.30.30
Upgrading to 4.40.0.0 (will post if the issue continues after upgrade)

This server is running CentOS 8.1.1911
After upgrading the iDRAC f/w to 4.40 the issue is resolved.
