RED007: Package verification failed IDRAC 7
Hello.
The idrac update on my R220 fails. I wanted to import the latest update and get the message:
RED007: Package verification failed.
I have loaded the right package over the Service Tag.
Upload but the error comes then in the job manager

Hello,
There are a few things you might consider trying. The first thing I would do is to perform a power drain of the server by unplugging it, then holding the power button down for 30 seconds. This will force the iDRAC and Lifecycle controller to restart. Once that is done, I would also recommend confirming that the Lifecycle controller is enabled. The LCC is what runs the updates, and it being disabled can cause issues. You can check this from using F2 during POST, then selecting iDRAC settings. It may also be good to test another update method, such as through the LCC directly, or in the OS, to see if the behavior continues elsewhere.

The most important thing to check is to make sure your idrac or bmc firmware is up to date first. Your system should be at version 2.x or later. If your system is at 1.5x or earlier, upgrade to 1.6x first, then the latest 2.x version. If you have problems upgrading the idrac, use the firmimg.d7 file via the idrac gui. The .d7 file can be extracted from the idrac windows update package. Post back here if you run into problems.
