T420 configured as Win 1 workstation?
Of course Dell does not support this, but is this reasonably a workable path? Any thoughts on this or possible links to someone who has done this already?

Windows 11 works. I have a T420 that's running on Windows 11. You just have to get around the TPM and Secure Boot limitations. I highly suggest loading the OS ISO onto a USB using Rufus, as it has the ability to easily bypass TPM and Secure Boot requirements as well as disabling Bitlocker if desired as well as installing as a local Admin.

The T420 does boot UEFI secure, so, disabling this and using legacy boot would still be required?
