Backlight staying on permanently..

Question

Hi Guys,

I received my Dell Venue Pro 11 5130 yesterday and so far i love the tablet but i have a really annoying issue. When i press the power button to turn the screen off, the display will go black but the backlight stays permanently on. This results in the tablet draining the battery completely within 5/6 hours.

I immediately flashed the new bios upon receiving the tablet so I'm not sure what the issue is?

I had this after updating to a new graphics driver - however the install crashed halfway though & left me with this issue. I re-installed the driver (it worked fine the second time) and the problem went away.
