Where did you get the file? Did it come through the update process on the phone? Which version of the streak do you have (Country/Network/Baseband/OEM)?

No sorry, I don't know what you need to do. Unfortunately you're not likely to get any help here, Dell seem to have forgotten about this forum.

But you are the first person (I know of) who has had the update notification, which suggests that one of the vast number of programming monkeys currently bashing away at random on their computers in the Dell Streak OS update department has got a little closer.

Did you do the backup? Try it...after completing the backup it worked for me.

I only get so far as a screen with "Fastboot_mode" when i enter that command "fastboot -i0x413c flash amss amss.mbn" it wont work.
