Dell latitude 10 ST2e won't Boot

When I recently attempted to start-up my Latitude 10 ST2e tablet (Tag#6DZ9RT1), I noticed that the power light came on and the front camera light indicator came on, but the system did not boot-up.  Both the power light and the camera light remained steady and did not flash.

After looking-up the recommended solutions on this page, I attempted to hold the power button for 10 seconds, release, and then hold it for 10 seconds again.  I attempted this numerous times, and even held the button for up to 1 minute each time.  This did not solve the problem.

I then plugged-in the charger and the charging indicator light came on (steady) for about an hour and then went off, indicating that the tablet had re-established a full charge.

I also disconnected the battery and attempted a hard re-start.  This also failed.

From what I can tell, there are no problems with the charger or the battery.  It just seems that the system is asleep and cannot be "woken up" or that there is a boot error.

Please assist.  Thank you.

Robin,

Thank you for the information regarding the system and the post.  The issue I'm having is that there is no screen activity at all.  Only the power indicator and webcam indicator light up.  Therefore, I am unable to run any diagnostics or perform a re-set.

Since it is most definitely a hardware issue on an out-of-warranty unit, I'm most likely out of luck.
