dell streak junk?

I was having a problem with my streak 7 that after using a while it would freeze up so i called support (in india) they had me do a master reset by pushing + and start button at same time. It just brought up a blank screen with faint lines in background so he had me do it again nothing same thing so he had me try pin reset several times the same thing blank lit screen with faint  lines in background . Now they tell me its out of warranty and theres no extending it and theres nothing more they can do. Is there anything else i can try or is it junk?
