I'd like to start out by saying that I've experienced this on both systems I've had (7130 and 7139). The most consistent way I can think to reproduce the glitch is to let the system time-out and put itself into sleep mode. Upon wake up, the glitch seems to occur. It's not to say it happens every time, but I have yet to see it happen when I force the system into sleep mode.
Hi, could someone confirm that the newest Intel video driver is version 15.33.8.64.3345 (10.18.10.3345), 10.18.10.3316 being the factory installed on vpro 7130.
I have downloaded the exe for this newest 10.18.10.3345 driver from the Intel web site, but could not install (message that it is not for my tablet)...
Anyway from what I am reading on this forum, there is NO evidence that this newest driver solves the problem...
NOTE: I don't think I ever had the "ghost effect" undocked, it always happens when I am docked.
Aside from the Dell "Brian" person responding to my post and stating that their engineering teams are looking into it, I have no resolution thus far.
My Venue 11 Pro 7130 model shipped on 12/30/13 and at that point it still had the same 10.18 video driver.
I am wondering if this touch problem is related to the video, because after my screen goes crazy like you're describing/showing in the videos, when I go to dock it into the desktop dock (which the problem has in the past also occurred in besides the mobile keyboard), it doesn't remember my external monitor settings - meaning that it sets it to the default option which is "mirrored" instead of displaying my video on the docked/digital display only.

I can confirm this behavior has not returned for me after I installed the new intel video driver. You might try restarting your device and try installing again. I got the "this is not for your device" message the first time I tried to install it.
I posted this on the other link but I figured I'd share with all of you the outcome of my Dell support issues.
Well, after two refreshes and several calls with Dell tech support Dell is replacing my tablet. The tech admitted that there were some issues with early units upon release and if the fixes he tried did not remedy my issues (freezing, ghosting, keyboard turning off and not coming back after docking) then the unit needs to be replaced. I will receive a new tablet in 7-10 days. 7-10 days is honestly a long time to wait for a product I waited over 2 1/2 months for to show up in the first place. I hope Dell learns from this launch as it will likely be the last time that I'm first in line for a product.
Honestly, I'm a bit concerned that I will get the same tablet. I ordered the Venue 11 Pro w/I5 4300, 256GB SSD and 8GB Ram and I see that you can't even buy that on Dell's site right now. I know the original delay was due to some part supply issues related to the model I chose but honestly, how long is this going to take?
Dell recommended that I restore Windows to factory settings (wiping all). I did that and I have not has the since...
However, prior to restoring, I had installed the new touchscreen firmware marked Urgent from the Dell site. So perhaps that new firmware is what took care of the ghost. How
Question: A factory Windows restore will not restore the touchscreen firmware update, is this correct? How can I validate the version of the firmware?
I have a brand new 7130 with bios version A06 and this device has that specific issue as well. Installing the critical touch display firmware did minimize the problem but I have seen the issues once or twice since. As reported it has only been experienced when docked. As stated before it seems like Dell is in dire need for several software/firmware updates to fix thi system.
I am not giving up on the device though since it is an amazing system when not being bugged by these errors. I just hope they are working hard on solving all the issuses.

Interesting you have bios A06. Mine came with A05 and the Dell's website shows A05 as the latest.
After working with support, I sent in 2 of the Venues I had exhibiting the problem so they could look at it. So far I am 5 for 5 with Venues and ghost touching issues. One even had the problem in the initial Windows setup that came imaged on the Venue. I tried updating one to the Intel 3345 and it still has problems with ghost touching. I will follow up if I hear anything from support.
