It's possible my keyboard issue existed before and I didn't notice. I've only had it for a couple weeks and it's mostly just an annoyance. I haven't contacted support or anything because most of what I've been experiencing seem to be minor driver compatibility issues so I was just waiting a while to see if they release an update to fix it.
Have you tried refreshing your tablet and if so has it helped at all? (the link refers to the surface, but the procedure is the same) If I get time to try this myself I'll post here whether it helped or not.

yeah that's what service told me to do is to refresh it, so I did a hard reset, did nothing, the a soft reset without removing apps and still did nothing. as far as I know its driver issue too probraly and now I have to wait for update. I will follow up with dell in a few weeks or so, but if anyone finds a solution plz share.

still waiting for dell or someone to help me out here, seems like support has no answer other than we will tell our development team.

I thought I did not have any problems after upgrading to win 8.1 rt successfully conducted two days ago ......... at least I thought it was so! Instead, this morning my dell xps 10 has become almost unusable.
It crashes all the time and I have to restart it, start internet explorer 11 and hangs on the splash screen ie. After more reboots (become very slow) was also blocked on the initial login screen (account locked), or did not allow me to make a login because It do not proposing the keyboard! (hallucinating), or was suspended after a few seconds. I need help ......... now I am trying to launch windows update to see if there is a fix, but it went in suspension and with pressing the windows key does not come out anymore ....... is a war .....
I do not understand the tablet was fine (I arrived Monday) with windows 8 rt, but with this update that I am trusted to make things went down.
Just now I try a refresh

Well I just made a refresh installation of windows .... when you first log the virtual keyboard did not appear as usual, I had to recall it from the menu of accessibility, now I have called the function to change settings pc, but the splash screen is locked ...... soon, when I have enough, I'll do a full restore of the tablet and if it does not give it back to dell.

Well the downside for me being a college student is that I can't simply give to dell cuz its not working then receive again only to find something wrong again, I have to wait until dell puts out a fraimwre update or other updates sadly have to wait and wait.

Hi,
I am sorry to write today only
I just wanted to tell you that after a refresh installation of windows 8.1 rt (which does not erase neither user data nor programs installed), during the same day, in the evening, as I expected as other updates released microsoft windows update that I installed it immediately. The result was to finally have a system functioning in a satisfactory manner. The applications work smoothly i can say that my xps 10 is going great.
