I'm having the same issue. When someone calls me I press the talk button and it is non-responsive. I have missed several calls because of this. I end up calling the person back. When I go to voice mail and I finish and want to hang up "the end call button" won't work. I tap it and tap it and tap it and nothing. Once the voice mail finishes giving options then the voice mail hangs up, not the phone.

What I have been doing is shutting down the phone all the way and then restarting it. This works for a while but then it goes back to having the same issue.

I left T-Mobile HTC HD2 for this gadget because I thought win 6.5 was not very good. Now I'm beggining to regret it.

I have been a loyal Dell customers for many many years and I have always had friends and co-workers purchase they pc's at Dell. I thought of Dell very highly. However, this phone with 1.6 android has left a bad taste in my mouth. I will also wait and see if Froyo helps to redeem my faith in Dell.

If they end up dropping Froyo I promise I will leave Dell and go straight to Apple and not look back twice. I currently have an Alienware and a MacBook Pro. I use them both. However, the Alienware has giving nothing but headaches. I hope the Streak does not follow in it's foot steps. I would be very highly disappointed.

All I can say Dell - if you do not want "a loyal $$$$" customer like myself and others to jump your ship and never look back, please resolve the Streak OS soon.

Whatever the issue is with your company in getting Froyo is not worth losing your business and reputation. You are a great company that once put out a great product. Let's get back to that and release Froyo.

Always call support if you have a problem. If you wait until a new update comes out and the problem is with the hardware, the update will do you no good. Besides, if you have a problem that they cannot resolve you may have to consider a refund. This can only happen within 30 days. Think about it, my friend.

Hi Olemike,

Thank for your reply my friend!

I'm over the 30 day purchase :(

If it is the hardware that will seal it for me and I will go back to HTC. Sprint Evo is looking awfully tempting right now.

I have heard it may be software and not hardware (keeping fingers crossed). It may even be a problem with AT&T. I will call and see what both Dell and AT&T have to say.

It is a shame that if this does happen to be (software or hardware) I will be gone from Dell permanently. I will no longer recommend it and/or buy from it.

I'm keeping the faith on this company until the update. And like I said before, if the update is axed so am I. I will never look $$$$ back.

Thank you again for your kind words and advice.

The Sreak has a year warranty so calling tech support may not be a bad idea. If it was just software more people would most likely post about it. Consider.

Well I've figured out one problem, but come across another. I feel stupid saying this now, but have figured out why the screen flickers, but still feel they should fix this. There is a sensor on the top of the screen somewhere that when covered in any way will darken the screen. I'm assuming this is for when it is up by your face during a conversation so your cheek doesn't press buttons. BUT, while talking on speaker phone i constantly move the phone around and it seems to lag whenever your hand is removed from the sensor.

Now for the NEW problem. I can't get music on my phone. I plugged it into my computer last night. Downloaded the drivers. It shows up in my Computer Panel as the removable G drive... and from what i'm told i should be able to just drag and drop music.... WRONG! Everytime i try it, it says. " Please insert a removable disk" almost like it's not registering. I own a Dell laptop. This should not be a complicated thing.

I am a previous iPhone user and Lover. I still carry my iphone... and look at it everyday and remember how simple my life was with it. I'm really not sure if I want to go through all the hassel with Dell. (There phone service and support has been everything but helpful). I guess i'll try to call today and see if i can talk to someone that I can understand. lol
