Latitude 7285 Unavoidable Deep Discharge
My Latitude 7285 has 2 batteries (one in the detachable keyboard, one in the screen) and during regular use, the battery in the keyboard drains first. After the keyboard battery drains completely, then the device starts to use the screen battery. The problem with this design is that, in order to use use even half of the device's total battery capacity, I have to deep discharge the keyboard. Is there a way to switch to the screen battery when the keyboard battery drops to, say, 20%? If not, who do I contact to request this feature?

I have the same question. This design flaw causes the keyboard to be completely drained every time which is not good for the life of the keyboard battery. This design would explain why there are so many "Refurbished" 7285 Keyboard Batteries on eBay that no longer hold a charge, as I just received one of these and have to send it back.
