I realize there is a 32gb micro disk offered. However, it is not offered as an "upgrade". You have to pay full price for the 32gb san disk because it is in addition to the 16 gb micro disk included with the Streak. What I want is an option to REPLACE the 16 gb disk that is included with the streak with a 32 gb drive. The extra cost would be the difference between the cost of a 16gb card and a 32 gb card. That is what they do on their computers when you build them. You choose 4 or 8 gb of Ram built into the computer.
Then they should pre-package a 32gb phone and charge $40 more. (difference between 16 and 32 on their site). Than would be like what Apple does with the iPad. I'd even pay an extra 50 instead of having to buy a 32gb card for 119 and have two cards.
Its easy to sell them the way they do now.Prepackaging with two different memory configuration would be easier for you not them.They should just sell it with the 32gb.

I bought DELL STREAK with no question since I was sure DELL + GOOGLE will do amazing. It was a complete fall and I am stuck with DELL STREAK 5 that is driving me crazy. Complicated, missing huge SIMPLE features, very annoying tiny mini micro font size for a 5 inch screen, NO ARABIC language. No EXIT feature for applications even the TASK KILLER doesn't work properly, and NOW I am getting " Low on space" & "SMS memory space is full" message all the time although I have installed 32GB memory. Managing the SMS's is a real headach, Keyboard on screen is unbelievably BAD (small tiny keys not accurate), The location of speaker is the worst since I am missing too many calls when my phone is left on table and not on a stand. This phone needs to go back to you DELL and I want my money back ..
Money not back then consider your self bought a real real bad reputation on the net ...
R U Serious or U just wana prove something ?? U R asking me SD card is for storage and not used as memory right?DELL STREAK doesn't give U the choice where to save UR sms's where on the other hand this choice is becoming standard in any tel these days and U can find it in very cheap mobiles too.
Come on .. if U really have something good say it or otherwise continue UR advertising to this malfunction item so called device. its better to use DELL STREAK as a FLY KILLER.

I believe the phones are already packed for shipping unlike a computer that is packed after they are configured.

Your right, they should. On the other hand, Apple manages to sell 6 different versions of the iPad. I would think Dell could manage two.

You do realize the SD card is for storage and not used as memory right? I'm not sure about the internal card.
