Microsoft apps store sign in
I have chosen to setup my tablet so I don't have to enter a password.
I don't have nor want a Microsoft account.
I just visited the Microsoft apps store and wanted to download a couple of free apps.
Each time I was asked to sign into my Microsoft account.
I was presented with my tablet username and asked to enter my password.
I left it blank because this is how it is setup. There is no password!
It kept saying my password is incorrect!
Any tips on how to proceed?

Microsoft App Store requires a Microsoft Account to download even free apps from the store. It ties a license for that free app to your online Microsoft Account. The same thing applies in the Apple Store when downloading free apps, you must have an iTunes account. It's also the same for Google Play. It cannot be accountless.
