Problems with newly bought XCD28!!
I have bought XCD28 1 month back. The ear piece pf phone is very poor. It becomes very difficult for hear anything from other end. There is a constant disturbing noise during the call. The ringer volume and vibration quality is also very low and it's almost very difficult to take calls during the busy places. You can't or hardly hear anything.
The battery of phone is another issue. It only stays for only 3 hours without any calls whereas it was calimed by company that it will stay for a day. It requires constant charging. I am very troubled with these issues.
Kindly guide me what is the solution of these problems and who can help me. I have already contacted and shown handset to Dell service station but not much of any use. Till now no help from them.
Hearing and talking is a very primary and basic function over the phone and no body will expect dell to deliver such a poor quality handsets to Indian population where their business is growing like anything. Does company want to be listed as any other sub-standard fraud organisations in India who simply sucks in corruption and sucking Indian consumer's blood and money!!
I hope you understand my plight and will convey the message to senior officials of company. If same thing of making people fool continues then, dell's name will be doomed in very near future which you can see on many other mails and postings over the Internet. Only Trust is most important thing for the business to carry out.

i have bought a xcd28 on 2nd feb,2011. i dont find any problem other than the battery. it sucks up the whole battery within 5,6 hours. i've now installed some new apps which inform about all the running programmes. so i have to keep checking and closing the unwanted progs time to time.and the battery lasts for 10 to 12hrs now.and that'sa also not enough and is a big shame fo r the company.
it'll bring very bad name to dell brand. company should take back all the handsets.
if u find any solutions do inform me too at <ADMIN NOTE:Email id removed per privacy policy>
