Usb connection problem
I have a Dell Streak, when i try to connect it via usb to PC it shows a massage USB device not recognized... in usb properties it say "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)" I have already wasted 5 hours on this... i tried looking up drivers 4 Streak but there r none ...
Firmware 2.1 - update1...
PS how hard should it be to connect a phone to a PC?

UPDATE installed Firmware update no luck now its 2.2 and still no Luck... i'm a tech guy, but i cant figure it out.... that makes me rly angry(((

Hi atikx, you are not alone! Since my Streak 5 updated to 2.2 Sync'ing my Windows Media player ceased to work, I've:
Factory Reset
Tried Manually
I too am a techie with more than 10 years in the trade & am as frustrated as you! I've manually transferred my media files but the Streak player doesn't list them yet when I browes the device they are there?!?!?!
Dell seem to offer little support on this issue & the Nero software is crap & no use to anyone!
Oh and since the upgrade my predictive text has stopped working & I upgraded in February so still waiting for the advised patch to be released arrrrggggghhhhhh!
DELL PLEASE SORT OUT!

I've passed the problem to Dell who are investigating it as we speak but glad you got your media at least to sync :-)

Yes yes, i managed to make Dell mobile sync(Nero) work god knows how, but still cant transfer files like apps or books... Very upsetting, coz i love my streak, and friends with apple grow envy)))

Well yeah its better then nothing) its even kinda funny, a PC running i7@4.2 and an android phone running 1Ghz need an hour to transfer 80 songs...

Yes, I too am having problems syncing my Streak 2.2 onto the Nero Mobile Sync platform- upon clicking the DEVICES tab, I get a pop-up warning box saying "Your mobile device requires the installation of updated hardware drivers. Please install the latest driver software from the device's memory card or from the vendor's website." But no downloadable driver appears to work with the Streak?
I dunno...

I am getting the same problem. Exactly the same problem on my Streak 7. Just got it today. BUT, i am very frustrated. First i cannot insall QIK on the device. I tried looking for it on the Market Place, and it doesnt even appear for download. I also went directly to QIK's website, no luck there either. When i called DELL to ask about the issue, they wanted to charge me 50 BUCKS to find a resolution. On a device less then 24 hours old they wanted to charge me money to fix. I am also extremly confuse about the Netflix thing. I have a Froyo 2.2.2 device which runs netflix perfectly fine. Installed the Original copy of the market place on that device, YET, on the S7 i cant even find it in the market place. Very dissapointed thus far with my S7. Any have a solution to either of these problems?????
