venue 11 pro 7130/7139: "windows 10 not suported on this device"

on dell venue 11 pro 7130/139 support page, a banner tells me that "windows 10 operating system not supported on this device".

I spent about 1600 euros less than a year ago.... is one of the top dell products on the store today...  and i cannot update it to windows 10?!?

this is the way DELL takes care about it's customers....

well done, DELL, well done....never.. NEVER buy another dell in all my life...

I did not see any new bios or driver release for win 10 for my Venue 11 Pro 5130 x64.

The media creation toolkit doesn't start even and also a downloaded version of the whole package won't start the install routine.

So what is wrong here?

The problem is, you still need a key to activate this tablet after clean install, but this key is not printed on tablet :D so you will need to backup key somehow...

It would be nice to check reviews on how good Windows 10 is on this tablet, especially battery time.

if i'm not wrong, 5130 is tested only with x86 architecture and not x64.

with only 2gb of ram, 64 bit OS does not make sense....

But it is available since begining of last year on the x64 architecture with the baytrail Z3795 with 2 Gb of Ram and 64 Gb internal memory.

But id did took a further dive into it and found out that bitlocker must be disabled.
So did that and after that Windows Update came with the message that the update was available.
Started from Windows Update the install routine and install started and all the files were copied in the known folders.
But unfortunately after a while it simply stopped and after 3 more attempts I gave up for now.
So now I still don't know why it won't complete the update (having 16Gb free on C partition).

I did a clean install after upgrading to Windows 10. This does mean I cant roll back to Windows 8.1

However all my drivers are now working including the mobile broadband driver. I have no issues anymore after the clean install. Every thing is working OK.

My Venue Pro 11 made the transition from Win 8.1 to Win 10 with only one hiccup, and it was a minor one.  Basically, I had to tell it where the sound was supposed to come from.  Other than that, not a single issue.

(I don't use Bluetooth from the tablet, so I did not test the Bluetooth.  WiFi had no issues.)

Although Windows 10 is not officially supported, you can download and install it without incident if you make sure that:

1. All your drivers and firmware are up to date

I personally installed Windows 10 and everything on the tablet works from audio to Bluetooth to media...

I have a Venue 11 Pro 7139

if the atom tablets are like the Venue 8 Pro tablets, then the EFI will stop  you as it is impossible to install x64 onto 32bit EFI without a hack
