Venue 8 Pro --need advice on case

Question

I have my tablet and keyboard in a case. I want a better case with a magnetic closure, like the iPad Smart Cover. Those I see online all come with a keyboard but I have one. If I could find a case with keyboard and magnet closure under $25, I'd grab it. Otherwise, any recommendations for one without a keyboard?  Thank you

If you haven't yet done so, a search at Amazon.com on 'Dell Venue 8 Pro' will lead to a bunch, both with and without keyboard.

My #1 place to shop! Found a few but want personal recommendation which to get and which not to get. I found none, however, that were Smart Cover and keyboard holder that came without the keyboard

By the way, if by Smart Cover you mean an iPad-like cover that automatically turns the tablet on or off when the top flap is opened or closed, the DV8P does not support such a functionality and I haven't heard of a cover for the DV8P that adds that--the functionality just isn't there.

You might try doing some searches on the model names at the Dell forum at tabletpcreview.com--people were discussing them a lot there early this year.

I just want the magnetic closure. Many covers claim to work like the a Smart Cover. I'll check the link you gave, thanks. I ordered a Smart Cover but it only holds the tablet and stylus.

Here's what I use. The cover is not magnetic but it works very well. The keyboard is quite nice. I have read comments that the DV8P does not cooperate with a magnetic cover.

Yes, the DV8P does not have a smart cover function like the Apple iPad.
