Venus 8 Pro Issues
I turn it on by holding it vertically and holding down the top button. I then try to login to WiFi. It hangs then says it's taking longer than usual. I can't get back to the main screen to see if my settings are right (they previously were). How do I get out of a screen to go back to Home? I push up and down and left and right but nothing happens.

A bit confused, but: when the tablet is in the vertical, portrait orientation such that there is a single button on the top side (on the top towards the right), the on-off button is the top button along the right side of the tablet, not the button on the top of the tablet. If I recall correctly (mine has been set differently from the default), the top button--also known as the Windows button--will take you to the Start screen when pressed.
And with my tablet, I rarely log out of my WiFi network, and so when I turn my tablet on, the tablet automatically makes the WiFi connection; one less hassle in life--automation is a good thing.

It isn't "my" WiFi. I have a login provided by the nursing home where I live. It auto-disconnects after fifteen minutes of no use. I have notes from last year where you told me to turn on and off by side button. I think the top gave me a black screen not Home. I'll try it later and update.

Turn it on to Home page. Try to get on wifi but same thing happens. If I push the top button, nothing happens. Only way to get to Home page is shut down without closing Windows then restarting. I'm going to try to get into a Settings and see what wifi is set on. I'll try again to get online
