Error VeeamBackup & dell unity
Dear community
i have a Hyper-V 2022 cluster with 3 nodes and unity dell for VMs location with fiber. I have configured the cluster correctly in Veeam, I can see the nodes and the VMs, but when I try to run a backup,
I get these errors: Processing VM Error: Value cannot be null. Parameter name: s or Unable to get target name for file: C:\ClusterStorage\Volume1\VM\Snapshots\6A204DB6-69D1-4634-A638-CACE086E003E.VMCX
What could be happening? Thanks!.

Hello Thor.ElPoderoso,
Which unity system do you have and what is your current OE that is running on your system? Which version of Veem are you using as well.

Hi Josh
Thanks for you reply, but I have reviewed the link, but the issue with `C:\Windows\Temp` is not applicable in my case because it is completely empty.
Other idea?
Thanks!

Hi Josh
Thank you for your response.
I have the firewall disabled, and there are no issues with the ports.
I would like to point out that if I open the Hyper-V console with the user running Veeam, I can create snapshots, create virtual machines, delete them, and perform other operations without any problems.
Thanks!

Hello Thor.ElPoderoso,
Since you have the firewall disabled and it works, then I would say that your firewall is blocking some part of the communication or authentication. If you have all ports open that Veem needs access to as well as the ports open that your unity system needs all communication should work without any issues.

Hi Sam
I have checked that the cluster has the firewall completely disabled, the Veeam server as well, and the Unity is in the same VLAN as them.
I believe this issue might be related to the Veeam version because I installed version 12 in demo mode, and it works perfectly.
What can I check in Veeam Veeam Backup & Replication 9.5 Update 4 to resolve this?
Thanks!

Hello Thor.ElPoderoso,
Seeing as you state that it works with the latest version of Veem but not 9.5 I would say that there was a change from 9.5 to 12 of either user permissions and requirements, or the access of certain ports that need to be enabled or disabled. Do you have an active warranty for your Veem?

Hi Sam
The licenses were not renewed by the old administrator.
