Hi,

Thanks for your question.  What step are you on that you are getting the error? This is a generic error that could refer to a lot of things.

Let us know if there is anything else we can help you with.

I am getting this error on install license step itself. I have downloaded the evaluation license and trying to apply the same by uploading it using install license button on UnityVSA setup wizard.

Does the UUID for the license download and that install match? What hardware are you installing it on? Does it meet the requirements on page 8 https://dell.to/3NnA28J Try uploading the license from CLI. Page 28 https://dell.to/3J1fccw

I tried 2 times, I don't think the license generated from the webpage will work, same error message.

I checked the logs, I found a problem with the REPLICATION Feature in the license file.

Yes UUID and license matches as I have used the same UUID to download from Dell software Eval

Tried to upload using CLI getting below error

Storage system address: 127.0.0.1
Storage system port: 443
HTTPS connection

Operation failed. Error code: 0x1000300
The requested object could not be found on the system. Recheck the command name. (Error Code:0x1000300)

Command used is :

uemcli upload -f .xml type license

Is the command correct ?

Also one additional information, I have also configured UnityVSA5.2 , at that time the license file received was .lic but for UUID of 5.3 is xml.

You will need to contact phone support. The file the tool generates should be a .lic file not an xml file.

Hello. DELL sent me license in .xml format but the appliance requires it to be in .lic format. Can you please share the email address where you contacted DELL about your issue?

Asheshiqbal, it should be resolved now to use the tool, but otherwise you will have to call phone support.
