Details: Unable to update raid topology

When I try to use a Dell PE R710 without local storage (so no disks, no PERC controller), I get an error: ("Unable to update raid topology") and the server cannot be used as a reference server in the hardware profile

Are you pulling the profile as a clone or as a custom profile?

How is the server booting? is it iSCSI or FC, or is it the internal SD card?

the server is booting from SD Card, i beleive you cannot create a profile unless you have internal HDD's
