File counting in vFog

I am trying to impliment a rule to count the number of files in a directory and if the file count goes above 10,000 it will raise an alarm and send an email to the admin team. Does anyone have a rule created similar to this that I can modify? Or are there any metrics that monitor this that I can use to create my own rule?

The OS agents don't currently collect that type of information.  If you want to do this you need to create a script agent that can monitor the directory in question on a machine and then you could use that data to create an alarm.  I've got examples of the scripts, but not sure how to upload them here.  If you send me a message with your email add. I can send them to you.
