Usage and reporting of WMI data
Hi there,
I hope that somebody from the Vizioncore / Quest support is reading this forum also, as I'm still waiting for answers from different posts.
We want to make an inventory list of our virtual environment, so far so good. But we also want to list the installed software (at least Microsoft licensed products e.g. SQL Server, Exchange Server) with WMI and bring it up in the report also. Does anybody have experience with using WMI data within vFoglight out there ?
Also the data collecet within the guest process cartridge, how is this brought up in any report ?
Best regards,

Issue #1: There is an Enhancement request already logged. Please refer to the “Resolved Issues” section of the Product Release Notes when new releases are available to identify if a fix (GP-86) for this defect has been implemented. Product Release Notes are available in the “Product Documentation” area of our Support Website at support.quest.com.
Issue#2: You will need to create a custom dashboard based on the collected GPI data (this is typically handled by our Professional Services group) and then build a Report against it.
