vCPU per core at a cluster level
Does anyone know how to create a report with vCPU's per core for each cluster?

Just a quick update. I noticed the fix was included in FVE 7 which should be released in a couple of weeks.

There is a metric for a cluster called Virtual CPU Ratio that shows the vCPUs to Core ratio. If you create a drag and drop dashboard/report you can drag out a cluster or all clusters and create a table. Then add Name and Virtual CPU Ratio to the table and you should be all set.

Looks like that metric does not work consistently. Half of my clusters do not have a value.

How is this figure calcuated because according to what I see, this is giving the number of vCPUs per physical processor, not core. Here's an example:
* 5 node cluster (2 physical cpus, 4 cores each = 40 cores)
In a dashboard I made for this cluster I have the following info displayed:
Now if I have 378 vCPUs powered on and 40 cores, I have a ratio of 9.45 vCPUs per core, not 38.
If I were to say 378 vCPUs over 10 physical processors, I have a ratio of 37.8 vCPUs per physical processor which is more inline with what vFoglight is displaying which depending on the number of cores per processor, is a very skewed number.
Am I correct?

Spoke with development and it looks like there is a bug, identified as VFOG-3260. This should get fixed shortly and incorporated into the product. In the mean time it could be done with a custom dashboard/function or a derived metric.

I can't check in the dev system today, but I've sent an email asking. I'll post back as soon as I hear.

It did not make 6.8. There is a fix for it that will make a patch shortly from my last conversation with dev. Sorry for the late reply.

Do you know if this was incorporated into v6.8? I do not see "VFOG-3260" listed in the fixes.
