I had the same problem and the only way that I found to get rid of it was to like at the file
path and see what file it was in, you can do this by going to your reports in Norton A/V and looking at the threat report. My infected file was in the Program files so I went to My Computer and went into Program Files and found the infected file and deleted it.I rescaned my computer and it was clean. I hope this helps you.
When I searched I could not find this file. I just clicked search in the start menu and typed in WINDOWS\NDNuninstall4_50.exe
nothing was found. Do you have any other suggestions. I appreciate your time and help. I even installed AVG trial but it did not pick the threat up after an almost 2 hour scan. I purchased Norton's 2005 but if it only identifies a threat, I think I need a program that will remove the threat.
When conducting a search, usually the less I type the better. You just need to make sure the scope of the search is for your whole C: drive and is for files and folders.

I did as you suggested. I found in the report:
C:\WINDOWS\NDNuninstall4_50.exe
When I searched I could not find this file. I just clicked search in the start menu and typed in WINDOWS\NDNuninstall4_50.exe
nothing was found. Do you have any other suggestions. I appreciate your time and help. I even installed AVG trial but it did not pick the threat up after an almost 2 hour scan. I purchased Norton's 2005 but if it only identifies a threat, I think I need a program that will remove the threat.
Again, thank you.

I was able to identify and remove the threat. When I rescanned I found a new threat:
C:\RECYCLER\S-1-5-21-2247778763-1709162666-557728558-1007\Dc38.exe
My search says this is an invalid path. Any help in identifying what I should search.
Any suggestions for a program to purchase that ill identify and remove threats?
Thank you.
