The only thing I recommend you do is completely uninstall the program and then reinstall it. It seems like an error within the program itself.

I also ran Adware SE in the save mode but keep stalling.

We use Mcafee virusscan 4.5.1 with a frequent update.

We used both programs for several years without trouble; only the latest weeks when we scan our PC SE is stalling.

Maybe I have to run HJT looking for some abnormality.
