Please ignore the subject line, it should have been " Spy Assassin."  I recently made a mistake and installed Spy Assassin ( www.spyassassin.com) rather than Ad-aware by Lavasoft. However, so far Spy Assassion seems to have done wonders in eliminating the many popups. etc. that had brought my computer (8250) to a near-standstill. My question is has anyone used the program and is there much of a data base on it.  I would appreciate hearing from anyone.  Thanks,  Larry Rood

Many thanks.  My concern was that Spy Assassin was a spyware, or worse, outfit.  As I said, using their product had done wonders for my 8250 -- something that Spybolt hasn't been able to take care of.  Larry Rood
