axwin frame window svchost.ext application error
Hello -
Error message keeps coming up: axwin frame window svchost.ext application error --
I've read some of the fixes for this error in the forum, problem is the computer won't find the ip address - we've tried to enter it manually - it says connected, but the internet will not come up? It was coming up at first, but not it doesn't come up at all ...
We have a desktop Dell Dimension E521 -
What's happening: when you click to view a page, another page opens ... and not the page you wanted to begin with. It appears the browser is hijacked.
We have ran several scans, CW Shredder, Spybot and the Malwarebytes anti-malware ... - can't get online now ... to try the fixes I've read here ...
Any help would be appreciated!!

We did get the internet to turn on and run combofix, but the computer is still going to different pages when we do searches -- still like the browser is hijacked ...

Please have the helper who advised you to run ComboFix continue with the malware removal procedure.
