I was able to take off the toolbar, but what about the applications on my desktop?

i don't know what you have.. where are you seeing the programs? are they just icons on your desktop, or are they listed in your list of "all programs"? if they are just icons on your desktop, they could be shortcuts for the installation files for the programs.. in that case you could just delete the icons/shortcuts on your desktop, and then look in start/my computer/"c:", and see if you see the installation files there, just waiting for you to install them, and you can simply delete them.. (or install them)..

i had this problem before and begin2search is malware/spyware(its in the restricted zone in spyware blaster) and i had those same icons pop-up on my desktop from nowhere. Cicnsyfan..everytime you see the word "SPYWARE" is it highlighted in orange? i had that same problem but a clean with ad-aware spybot and hijackthis will do the job

I have the exact same problem.  There is a website with this address, I went there after I found the Begin2Search  toolbar on my IE.  The site does have an uninstall, however, that doesn't work.  Can you tell me again how you got rid of the toolbar? And anything else that will help!

Thank you so much.
