you've started multiple threads in these forums, all based on the same problem you're having.
it would really be best if you kept all of your posts in a single thread, by REPLYing there, rather than starting new threads each time.
first, it will make it much easier for people to follow along --- knowing what you've already done --- rather than having to start-over from scratch each time.
secondly, you've already received a response (elsewhere) from BugBatter. Be advised that she is the foremost security expert in these DELL forums. as such, i believe it would be prudent for you to work with her as long as she's willing, rather than risk her passing-over you, as she sees you starting new threads seeking alternative advice.
I don't know about being "the foremost security expert" because all of us on Dell's security boards, work as a team, but thank you for the compliment, ky331.
JTaylorJ, as far as your advice on Avast, please post a link to that discussion topic. You can get information on the product at their forum here:
http://forum.avast.com/ Please post a link to your topic if you post there. Be aware that AV's may conflict, so disregard running whatever I've suggested if you run Avast.
