Can't run a disk check utility

Hi,

My PC is XPS 1530 windows vista premium. windows pc heailth check reports that there is dirty bit on my hard drive, i should run a disk check whish refuses to run. Also each time i play an mp3 disc or limewire downloaded videos this message pops up with a yellow sign 'rphelperapp.exe' The file or directory C:/$ Extend\ $ ObjId is corrupt and unreadable. Pls run the chkdsk utility which refuses to run even if you schedule it or run it manually without asking it to fix file system or recover bad sector.This is the hijackthis report for your analysis;
