CMESys.exe error message
I am getting this message every time I start my computer:
CMESys.exe - Unable to Locate Component
This application has failed to start becasue Gtoold.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem.
Can anyone tell me what this application is that I need to reinstall or what I should do to get rid of this message.

likely the result of GAIN (Gator Advertiser Information Network) [aka Claria] adware ..... (which you may still have on your system, either in full form... or more likely, have only removed partially.)
you can try to research this further on the net. many sites offer various 'fixes'. for example, Symantec offers a removal tool:

the actual tool itself: http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/FixGator.exe
please read the instructions carefully. as a safety precaution, before running the tool, save all your work, and close any running programs. be advised that some removal tools can automatically close down internet explorer and/or windows explorer.
disclaimer: While symantec is a highly reputable/reliable company, i have never used this particular removal tool. as such, i cannot personally vouch for its effectiveness in combatting the adware, nor for its safety. meaning, if you choose to use this tool, either properly or improperly, you are proceeding at your own risk.
