Comp wont turn on???

Question

Hopefully someone can help me with this,  when arrived home last evening, the yellow standby light was on on my computer, as usual i just tap the button and the comp turns on.  This time however it turned off.  I waited awhile and tried again,  nothing.  I tried unplugging and plugging back in,  nothing.  I push the test button on the back of the computer and the two fans turned on and the hard drive could be heard.  Thats all it will do.  Any help or advice would be great thanks. Eric

its a compaq, and no there is no light at all

I don't think I can help you with that one. Sounds like it's time to go to the shop.
