It could be a power supply problem. Desktop or laptop? Operating System? Have you had any other symptoms of malware? What type of security are you using and is it updated? Have you run any scans recently?

I'm using Norton Internet Security. I ran a complete scan and everything seems ok. It's a dell Studio Xps running Window 7. I've had no problem out of this computer till today. Thank you

It just shutdown again and I notice the monitor went off but the on off light on the cpu just blinked. It just up and restarts. Any ideas. Could be malware I guess.

Appreciate if you could share with minidump and event log from your computer by proceed as follows:

1. Disable automatically restart. (right click my computer -> properties -> Advanced tab page -> click settings button on Startup and Recovery section -> unchecked automatically restart checkbox)

2. Minidump will be created automatically when windows having error. (default location: windows\minidump).

3. Provide us with event log. (more information http://support.microsoft.com/kb/308427 ).
