computer security question

Question

I have McAfee virus scan, ad-aware,ccleaner,and spybot  stalled on my computer. Are these all o.k.,or should i remove a couple,or what?  Dim E310 3.2 pent 4, 160 hd, 1 gig memory.  Thanks

Thats fine but do you have a firewall? Personally I would get rid of McAfee and use AVG 7.5 or Avast Free instead of the resource hog McAfee. zb1 Message Edited by zbestwun2001 on 03-09-2007 03:31 PM

Anytime, but you might consider changing Virus Programs, you will notice an increase in your performance.

These two free programs auto update also.

I have used AVG for several years. Trying Norton, McAfee, Avast I picked AVG. I am in no way trying to persuade you but just inform you.

I'm searching now for some of those FREE programs, as i am reading that many of them are,if not,better than the ones you can subscribe to.  As mentioned, i don't want to load down my computer with  junk.
