CPU Usage/Processes high

I first posted this in another area, but someone told me to run HijackThis and post the results in here.

This is my problem:

 

Ok, first of all, when I go to Windows Task Manager(Ctrl-Alt-Delete), and I click on the Preformance tab, the CPU Usage graph goes up to 100% and stays there(which is most likely causing my fan to run on high almost all of the time; it has been like this for months now). I've scanned with McAfee VirusScan, Windows Defender, and Trend Micro HouseCall, and none of them found anything that could be causing this.

I then went to the Processes tab, to see if there was anything out of the ordinary, and saw that there were 12 total "svchost.exe" processes running, and one of them was running about 80%-99& CPU(I heard that that could be caused by a trojan).  I also saw that "System Idle Process" was using O% CPU(I heard that it should normally be running high).

And lately, my PC has been running very sluggish.

 

I have a DELL Inspiron 6000, 504 MB RAM, about 2 and a half years old, harddrive was replaced about a year ago.

 

I ran HijackThis.  Can anyone tell me if there's something wrong with my PC or if I'm just overreacting?
