They tell you how to remove the software and also how to make sure you don't get billed for it. If they have your info (name and address and or credit card number) then please make sure you unsubscribe before removing to avoid being billed. You might have signed up for moviepass when downloading something else so don't just assume they don't know who you are.
If the uninstall fails
Shutdown and Restart and Boot into Safe Mode by tapping the F8 key when you see
the PC maker's logo. Keep tapping until it tells you it is going to Safe Mode or you see the Safe
Mode menu. Select the top option. Log in as your usual login or you won't find
the programs you put on the desktop and some of the entries we want to remove will not appear in HijackTHis.
Run HijackThis and just do a Scan only. Check any of the the following that you find then Fix Checked:
This thing is NASTY. Before you remove it from your computer, be certain to call them and cancel your account (yes you do have one). If you do not, they *may* be able to come after you fo a year's membership fee which is over $388!
