Yes, it appears that that post is discussing the exact same thing, however, the solution posted did not help. If you want to take a look at my running processes, here is a picture:

I doubt it is related to the problem. I would be more concerned about the running process with no name (small square), and eliminate it from msconfig if it is present there.

here and download
HiJackThis to its own folder that you create on your C:\ drive at C:\HJT.
After it is downloaded open the program and click Scan and Save to log.
Post the log that it generates in the
HiJackThisForum for analysis.

What I would do is uncheck all HP processes in msconfig.
They don't need to lauch at boot up..
See if that helps...
Now if you are using an HP computer, then read carefully what processes that are HP related you are unchecking.
All the peripheral stuff just doesn't have to be checked.
Hope this fixes that problem.

I suspect the hi-lited file refers to the dla of DirectCD:
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/startups/tfswctrl.exe-1351.html
