I conducted the scans w/the programs that you stated. 

eTrust Antivirus - found no viruses (however while scanning Norton popped up stating that it found a virus, the one that I am trying to get rid of.)

Panda active scan - got stuck 3/4 through - stated in the bottom tool bar, error on page with an exclamation point in a yellow trianagle.

Trend Micro - House calls.  This also got stuck in the update mode.  the clock on their screen was set at 00:00 and the download bar was complete but it wouldn't scan.  I have used this program before.  It worked once then after that it always got stuck.

I need to know how to create a folder C:/HJT and where.  Thanks for the help so far!

Steve,

Follwed all instructions after the initial scan with the three virus programs.  I ran HiJackThis again deleteing R1, 04startup:webshots....., 04 Global startup:forget Me Not....when I clicked "fix check" a message popped up saying the following:

unexpected error

error #52 (bab fiell name or number) in Sub GetLongPath(?.exe)

send report to merj@spywareinfo.com , mention what you were doing and what version of windows you have.

I clicked ok

Continued on with the rest of the instructions and was not able to access any internet pages.  I was able to connect but everytime I tried to access my ISP homepage, my school website, etc I just got the error message of click refresh, etc.

I did a restore and was able to get it to work.  When I did everything that you told me restore was disabled.

ok, I did a search of my computer, the hard drive, hidden files and stuff.  It could not find any files with the name eied s7 c 85.exe.

Here's the file.  The only I did not do is delete the file from start up like you suggested because this is a reminder calendar that I need at startup to remind me of various kids activities, appt., school, etc.

I will await your next set of instructions.
