ds.dellfix.com

Question

I don't know what forum this belongs in.   My computer spends a lot of time going to  ds.dellfix.com  Is this a virus?   Is this location part of the dell network?  I use dial up with nortons firewall.  I have the 8400 dell computer with all the dell support/update software. I tried blocking it in firewall but it still goes to it. Not long download only about 200 kb then breaks connection and returns like every minute. I went as forum said to symantecs site and ran a virus scan from their website that came back clean. Do I have a problem?

wow - no response in 5+ years? Good to see Dell doing such a great job of supporting their clients. I'm seeing a bunch of this stuff too - more importantly, whatever Dell widget is generating this, it's using a Windows 98 IE 5.5 User-Agent.
