exploit-byte verify virus

Question

The 'exploit-byte virus.  This is what keeps popping up while I'm working on my computer--http://c.coolshader.com/index.htm.  I have found this virus on my machine.  One of the ways I've read to get rid of it involves R clicking on my computer and turning off system restore on all drives, but the computer won't let My Computer stay on the screen long enough for me to right click on it.  This is quite annoying and I'm scared this is going to ruin my brand new computer.  Please let me know what I can do.  Thanks

On first thought, the right click failure on My Computer sounds like the hijacker Xupiter. The trojan exploit may be a Java virtual machine issue. Best bet is to to post a log here for analysis so we can see what is going on:

So we need you to download and install an analysis and repair tool called Hijackthis.

Go here and download the file: http://tomcoyote.com/hjt

Please unzip Hijackthis.zip into a new folder you create in the root level of the C: drive. Name this folder C:\HJT for best and safest results. See this link for graphical instructions: http://russelltexas.com/spywareinfo/createhjtfolder.htm

Run Hijackthis, click on the 'scan' button and then 'save log' button. Copy and paste the contents of the text file you save into a reply to this message. Stay in this thread for continuity.

Download then unzip and run CWShredder to clean up clicking "FIX" to have it remove all it finds.
