Final Solution!!!
I have tried all the virus stuff & posted a hijackthis & everyone said it was fine. I just want to debug & format my hard drive & get a fresh system because I am about to install some new stuff anyways. I would like the step by step instruction set for doing this and yes I still have my system disks for the reinstall and they're not corrupt. I would also like a professional opinion on what router (someone said they offer very good virus protection due to built in firewalls or something like that), antivirus (I want to buy one so I can have it running always-preferably non-monthly payment), or other stuff I could use to secure my computer. Here's my sytem specs:
Dimension2400 totally stock except for Asylum 5200 vid card & extra 256mb RAM card...internet connection is 2mb Charter cable...thanks in advance =)

From the propertoes information provided it does not sound like it.
But http://www.microsoft.com/security/incident/sasser.asp gives details of how to check and remove that virus.

Could this be the infamous Sasser? My comp has been slower recently & I know Sasser usually is listed as Isass or something similar...
-Yeah I left them out on accident but I have noticed both of them doing excellent work on the boards, thanks guys! Also, I saw Nod & the other you said security people swear by, I liked the other better but you suggest Nod...any reason why? You know any good places to learn about & look for routers (they offer a built in firewall & good protection right? or should I just get that nice firewall you recommend?) Sorry my memory is not too great so names don't stick much, Nod only stuck cuz it reminded me of General Zod...LOL

I found a modem log that indicates some sort of problem, I sent a copy to via private message for you to look at. It was made the day I started having problems so I figure maybe you could figure it out. Thanks.
-Well nevermind I couldn't send it to you, but if you want to see it or know someone who would I can send it or post it if you want.

Is this a Modem or DSL Modem. Most of those I would not be able to help with. It is likely that the experts in the hardware boards would be of more help to you.
If its a firewall log from a DSL router, you will get lots of hits all the time, just turn off the feature, unless you wish to try tracing all the thousands of machines that will try to connect from time to time.
