Hi
First of all don't d/l SP2 till this is cleared up, that is very important...
Now go to
here and download
HiJackThis to its own folder that you create on your C:\ drive at C:\HJT.
After it is downloaded open the program and click Scan and Save to log.
Post the log that it generates in the
HiJackThisForum for analysis.
Go to system Properies and go to Startup and recovery and click settings and click EDIT and in the file where it always "/noexecute=optin entry to be /noexecute=AlwaysOff"
and tehn SAVE the file and do msconfig and restart the comp issue will be resolved
or
Click Start -> Run. 2. Type "services.msc" and hit enter. 3. Double-click "Windows Image Acquisition (WIA)". 4. Change the Startup Type to Disabled and click Apply. 5. Click the Stop button, if it is available. 6. Click the OK button. or
1. Click Start -> Run. 2. Type "sysdm.cpl" and hit enter. 3. Go to the Advanced tab and click on the Settings button in the Performance section. 4. Go to the Data Execution Prevention tab and select "turn on DEP for all programs except those I select." 5. Then select the "generic host...." box and click Apply. 6. Click OK on all the open dialog boxes. 7. Restart your computer.
Ok the tech ppl taking so long with answering my problem i opted. to do romi suggestion. I tried the second option to disable wia. That still did not work sigh. Plz can someone help with this problem i can"t take it anymore
