i see two separate issues here: the RunDll error is rather minor, and you might* be able to fix it using a startup manager (for example, MSConfig), by locating a startup entry that references the file deehgt.drv , and unchecking it. [(*) that's assuming you will be able to open/run MSConfig]
the bigger issue is that you can't use/access your other security programs. you said you have HiJackThis... try renaming the executable from HiJackThis.exe to jrodzilla74.exe and see if you can run it then. if so, post your results in the HiJackThis forum.
no good, tried renaming hijackthis and got same dll pupup. even tried executing msconfig from its folder location and same error. tried making a copy of msconfig and place in another folder and run app, no success. also found that it disabled my add delete program access. looks like this is the adware/virus that broke my laptops back.
You mentioned that you cannot run HJT. Instead of a HJT log, please post a description of your symptoms. Was it Norton that gave you the alert about the backdoor trojan? Do you remember the name and location of the Trojan?
*Note: When one of the analysts replies to your post, you will need a USB stick or CD so you can download a tool to that and move it to the infected computer.
Have you tried an online scan such as Kapersky or F-Secure to see if you are able to go to any of those sites? If so, when you post on the other board, please include the log(s) from those.

It appears that System Restore will not help.
