Google Has Turned On Encrypted Search
Google has turned on encrypted search by default. The tech giant announced in a blog post Tuesday that users, over the next few weeks, will be automatically directed to https://www.google.com when they sign into their accounts. The secure channel will help protect search terms and results pages from being intercepted by a third party.

I have noticed this but could not comprehend what was going on.
So it is more safer with https..

You're welcome. In fact, if you use Mozilla Firefox, there is an add-on that will do that on many websites.

ky331, that was the third try. The first two had a different coding issue that I encounter frequently when posting links and translating in html here. Busy day - no time to fiddle with them.

SSL protocol is good but the only problem is slowing search a bit. SSL protocol reduces speed of surfing the web and its the onlt problem with Google Encrypted Search.
