What you had was Antivirus2008. That is not AVG!
You did a good job. I'm glad you thought to run MBAM! :)

Your MBAM is outdated, though. Let's update it and run a follow-up scan to be sure it got everything.
Click the Update Tab > Check for Updates.

For the scan:
This time instead of doing a Quick Scan change that to a COMPLETE Scan.

I don't know what you did. Perhaps you clicked on the wrong link or were somehow redirected to the malware site.
When you search you have to very careful that you are spelling things correctly. The bad guys take advantage of people who make typing mistakes.
The good news is that MBAM does not find any malware on there now. Good job, LemonDrop! :)

thanks alot for your help all seems great for now i love this site that is how i found out about malwarebytes that is why when i read about hijack this i am always curious about reading if people indeed did have a virus but when i try and find out more after they have been directed to hijack this site i cant find out if they are clean or not? how do i go about reading peoples things? when they write in like me and send a log file how do continue to read up on there progress? maybe i cant? cuz it is there personal file? i just find it interesting to read other peoples virus stuff it makes me learn thanks for all and i will spell better i dont have spell ck on my email do u know how i can get it?
