help me plz!!!

hi i have a file under c:\programfiles\viewpoint ......if i scanned it with xoftspay it detetect adware here so what do i do now can i rrmove it from my computer ?plz help me

Adware? Could just be a cookie and nothing to worry about.

Here, run these 2 programs and rescan...if it still picks it up let us know..Update both programs first before using.

yeah i runned those 2 programmes  ......those 2 programmes didn't pickup any ad-aware or spyware ..only xoftspy detect that adware ............

Viewpoint media player is a media player. It's not spyware, but it does enable you to view certain advertisments, just like Macromedia Flash does. You can remove viewpoint media player from add-remove programs in the control panel.

Don't worry about it.. It's OK, either a false positive and just a small entry somewhere within Viewpoint that is setting that scanner off.

Viewpoint is OK to have.
