Something happened and you lost your formatting.  Makes it too hard to read.  I can tell you that I see:

All of this computer mumbo-jumbo is so confusing to me!! lol. I've tried everything to get it into a permanent folder of its own, but everytime I try, it never shows up. When the download box popped up, I clicked "Save" instead of "Run" and saved it as C:\Program Files\HijackThis  . Also, I checked the log, and I could not find those 4 you told me about... I'm sorry about the formatting, here's my log again, hopefully in good format. I hope I did it right this time. :smileyhappy:

At least I can read it now.  If you have saved Hijackthis to C:\Program Files then you can run it by:
 
Start, Run, "C:\Program FIles\hijackthis.exe", OK.  We ask you to run it from a folder because we will be cleaning the temp files and it and its backups will be removed when we do.
 
OK you will need a few programs to fix this mess.  Hopefully you can still get on the internet.  If not do what you can and skip the stuff that requires a download.
 
Download the Hoster from:
Unpack to your desktop and run it.  If you have green print at the top then just press Restore Original Hosts then OK. 
IF you have red print then press make Hosts Writeable first.
 
 
Get DelDomain.inf from:
 
http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/DelDomains.inf  and then right click on it and Install. 
 

Also download and install ccleaner.exe from http://www.ccleaner.com. Don't let
it clean anything yet. 

Start then right click on My Computer and press Manage. In the new window
Service and Applications then Services. In the right pane scroll down and find
Windows Management Instrumentation Driver Extension. Double click on it and and then set the Start Type
to Disabled. Then STOP the service then OK.
Download the killbox:
 
 
Where it says Full Path of File to Delete you need to type or copy (Hightlight and Ctrl + c) and Paste (move to the killbox and place the cursor in the box and Ctrl + V):
 
C:\WINDOWS\system32\System32.exe
 
Then check the Delete on Reboot box then the red button.   Agree you want to delete the file but do not let it reboot yet.
 
Repeat for:
 
C:\autorun.inf
C:\COMMAND.EXE
C:\Windows\RAVMOND.exe
C:\Windows\system32\RAVMOND.exe
(If it doesn't find them that's OK.  There are several versions of this beast.)  Let it reboot after the last one.
 
Boot into Safe Mode by tapping the F8 key when you see the PC maker's logo.
Keep tapping until it tells you it is going to Safe Mode or you see the Safe
Mode menu. Select the top option.
Run HijackThis and check the box in front of each:

Now hit the Fix Checked buttons and let it remove these.  Ignore any warnings.
 
 
Run ccleaner.exe, uncheck everything on the first page except the two entries
with Temporary and then Run Cleaner.
 
Reboot into regular mode and then go to:
 
 
and use their free scan.  Trend knows about this beast so should be able to remove any pieces we missed.
 
When done (Scan may take a while) reboot and run a new HijackThis scan and post the log as a reply.

Hi Ron,
    Yeah, I tried to download all of those programs, but a few wouldn't let me.. I remember one website couldn't be displayed, but every one I could download, I followed the steps as you said, and the stupid debugger virus is still there.. Should I just try to call someone to come over to check it out? I'm not really sure how expensive that'd be.. :smileysad: But thank you for all of your help.

Which files could you not get?   There are many other websites we can try.   Which programs could you not run?   Don't give up.
 
You can also try the tool from Symantec:
 
 
which if you can get it and it will run will fix your problem automatically.  If not:
You did manage to get rid of some of the infections so that's a start.  These are the ones we still have to worry about:

Try going into Safe Mode again and check the above then fix checked. 
 
Now Start, Run, cmd, OK which should bring up a black cmd window.
 
type:
 
cd \windows
 
copy regedit.exe regedit.com
 
start regedit.com
 
(this should bring up the registry editor.)
 
navigate to:
 
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT
 
then press the + in front of it to open the subfolders.
 
Find subfolder
 
exefile
 
then press the + in front of it to open the subfolders.
 
then find subfolder
 
shell
 
then press the + in front of it to open the subfolders.
 
then find subfolder
 
open
 
then press the + in front of it to open the subfolders.
 
then find subfolder

command

 

and highlight it.  In the right pane look for

(default)

 

and doubleclick on it.  delete what you see and replace it with:

"%1" %*

(type the characters: quote-percent-one-quote-space-percent-asterisk)

 

OK.

Now do the same for:

 

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT

txtfile

shell

open

command

 

Find (default) as before and make the exact same change.

 

Now go to:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE

SOFTWARE

Microsoft

CurrentVersion

Run (highlight this key)

In the right pane, highlight and delete each of the values:

Program in Windows
Remote Procedure Call Locator
WinGate initialize
winhelp

 

Finally:

Windows  (highlight this key)

In the right hand pane highlight and delete

Run

 

Close regedit



 

 And if you were able to get killbox then run it and tell it to Delete on Reboot the following files:

C:\WINDOWS\system32\WinHelp.exe
C:\WINDOWS\system32\WinGate.exe
C:\WINDOWS\system32\reg678.dll

C:\WINDOWS\system32\ily668.dll
C:\WINDOWS\system32\Win32vxd.dll
 
then let it reboot.
 
If you can't get killbox to work then from the black cmd screen type:

del /f firewall_anti.exe
cd windows\system32
del /f IEXPLORE.EXE
del /f WinHelp.exe
del /f WinGate.exe
del /f reg678.dll 
del /f winshost.exe

Reboot into regular mode and run another Hijackthis log and post it as a reply.

I tried everything you said. That website you gave me said that it couldn't be displayed, so I couldn't download that. I went into Safe Mode, however, and did what you said. Towards the end, I didn't get a killbox, so I had to do it through the black cmd screen. For all but the following, I got messages that said "Could Not find C:\WINDOWS\IEXPLORE.EXE" but with it's corresponding program... ex. "Could Not find C:\WINDOWS\WinGate.exe" "Could Not find C:\WINDOWS\reg678.dll" etc.
       cd \windows
       del/f firewall_anti.exe
       del/f WinHelp.exe
When I typed in "cd windows\system32", it said The system cannot find the path specified.
 
Also, towards the middle, where you said to go through:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER
Software
Microsoft
Windows NT
CurrentVersion
Windows
~ It didn't have "Run" listed to delete... or was that what I was even supposed to find to delete?
 
Hopefully some of this helped, but do you see anything else wrong? I definitely owe you big. lol

My fault.
 
Should have been
 
 cd \Windows\system32
 
(I left off the "\" before the Windows.)
 
Your log looks good though so we probably got most of it anyway. 
 
Use HijackThis, Misc Tools, Open Hosts File Manager, Open in Notepad.  Find the line that says:  127.0.0.1 localhost
and delete everything below it.  (You have to keep the localhost entry) Above it should just be text that starts with #.  These are comments and can be ignored.
 
Save the file.
 
Now try and go to the sites that did not work before.  Any better?
 
If not then in IE, Tools, Internet Options, Security, Restricted Zones, sites and delete any sites you find there.  Repeated for Trusted Zones.  If it says you need a password then let me know and I'll tell you how to get rid of it.  Or try the deldomain.inf file
 
 
Save to the desktop, right click on it and Install.

Sorry I haven't written back. It seemed like it was gone for a few days, so I was just gonna take a couple days to see if it was gone forever, and then my aunt got on the computer today on her name on Windows XP and it came back. It's back now on my name too. :smileysad: Why does this virus have to stink so bad?! lol. I'm sorry to keep bothering.

Not a problem.
 
I think this is the beast we are looking at:
 
 
These are the two entries you need to check and Fix Checked (in safe mode).

They says the thing kills off entries for antivirus programs so if yours is on the list you may need to reinstall it.
 
Run Killbox and have it delete

C:\Windows\WIWSHOST.EXE
 
Also just to be sure let's
Start, Run, cmd, OK
to bring up the cmd window then type:
 
cd \
dir /s WIWSHOST.EXE
and see if it finds it anywhere.
repeat for
dir /s WINSHOST.EXE

Ok, first of all... What is "killbox" and how do I run it? That's been confusing me. I did everything else you said though, and this is what I got for the bottom section of your message.

Sorry about that.  Thought I'd told you.
 
Download the Killbox.
Save it to the desktop
Double-click Killbox.exe to run it.
Select "Delete on Reboot".
Place the following line  in the "Full Path of File to Delete" box in Killbox:
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\wiwshost.exe
Press the red button, agree you want to delete the file but do not let it reboot.
 
repeat for:
 
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\winshost.exe
 
but this time let it reboot.
 
Then repeat the dir /s commands (It may show up in !Submit but that's OK)
 
I think we got it but just in case you need to copy the output you can just highlight it and press Enter then move to a reply and press Ctrl + v
 
One more HijackThis log too please.

Alright, I did the killbox. I'm sure you told me before, but that might've been one of the websites that wouldn't pop up. I'll just cross my fingers and see how it goes. I have one more question that's not really on this topic, but do you know how to delete programs that don't have an uninstall button or anything on the Add or Remove Programs list or under the Start list? I have WinMX and I'm trying to delete it, because I'm thinking by using that is how I got the virus in the first place... I also have like Napster files and a couple others that show up in the Add or Remove Programs list, but there are no back-up files or anything to it, so they won't delete off of the list nor the computer. I was just wondering, so I can get rid of as much on this computer as possible. Thanks for all of your help. You've done a lot!
