I have moved this to the Virus/Spyware discussion board where you should be able to get better help on this issue.
I see the same mention of it on a French website presumably the same one you mentioned:

From a Google Translate it looks related:

So it seems related to this:

I would say it needs to be removed.

What operating system are you running on that laptop and which security scans have you run so far? What were their findings?
